Youth Sunday and Annual Congregational Meeting
February 4
| | |
Join us this Sunday, February 4 for Youth Sunday. Following the 11:00 a.m. service, please join us in Fellowship Hall for the Annual Congregational Meeting.
Each year, our youth lead worship for the congregation, which includes selecting a theme, writing liturgy, giving the message, and sharing their musical talents. We have an amazing group of high schoolers who are looking forward to worshiping with you.
After worship, our middle schoolers will be preparing and serving lunch for the Annual Congregational Meeting in Fellowship Hall. In support of the Souper Bowl of Caring, we invite you to join us for a lovingly prepared meal of soup and sandwiches. As part of the fundraiser, youth will be collecting donations in large soup pots to help cover the cost of lunch, with all extra proceeds benefiting the Souper Bowl of Caring. Cash, check and online giving accepted.
At the Annual Congregational Meeting, we’ll receive the 2023 annual report, hear from the session about ministry plans for 2024, and we’ll elect a class of officers to their respective terms.

You may bring donations of personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, chap-stick, hand and body lotion) or household supplies (cleaning products, sponges, laundry and dish detergents) to church next Sunday, February 4. You may also bring items to church office until tomorrow, February 2. Thanks for your donations in January - our neighbors in need are grateful!

Hosts Needed for Atrium Fellowship
Members and guests enjoy the opportunity to stop in the Atrium after the 11:00 a.m. Sunday service to greet friends, introduce themselves to guests, and welcome new members. Lemonade, water, sweet and salty snacks are provided and served by the hosts of this popular fellowship time.
We are in need of families, couples, or groups to volunteer as hosts. Three people can easily organize and handle the refreshments. Punch bowls, cups, napkins, trays and lemonade are available in the kitchen next to Fellowship Hall. The Fellowship & Evangelism Commission is available to answer questions and assist.
The following dates are available: 2/11, 2/18, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, and 3/24 (Palm Sunday). Please consider volunteering to host a Fellowship Time by contacting Judy Burch at 912-602-0766 or e-mail bgrammyb5@aol.com.
