On Friday, April 24 at 7:30 PM, All Saints’ and the Piedmont Choral Society invite you to attend a free candlelight concert in the nave. The concert will be performed by the PCS Choral Artists, a 25-voice chamber ensemble, including four members of the Choir of All Saints’. The program will feature several ethereal a cappella arrangements. We hope you will join us for this transcendent musical experience. | | We offer prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Henry Riley, who entered the Resurrection on Friday, March 27. Henry’s Celebration of Life will be at All Saints’ Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 25 at 1 PM. The choirs are invited to assist in leading congregational singing. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: Coltrane L.I.F.E Center in Concord, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, and to the All Saints’ Memorial Fund (525 Lake Concord Rd. NE, Concord, NC 28025). Henry's obituary can be read here. | | | |
Hello guys! The Saturday Morning Men’s Group is inviting all the men of All Saints’ to join us at Towel City Tavern, 126 West Avenue, Kannapolis, on Tuesday, April 28. We’ll start gathering around 5:30 and start ordering food around 6 PM.
We’ve been to Towel City Tavern several times. It’s a great place to meet, eat, and have a beverage. But the fellowship is even better. It’s a wonderful way to get to know each other better in a relaxed atmosphere. Please join us and invite a friend or neighbor. Any questions contact Chuck Collier, Gary Kovar, or Don Foskey.

Domestic violence is a major problem nationally and locally. Every 15 seconds a woman is battered in this country. Locally, Cabarrus Victims Assistance Network (CVAN) provides much-needed assistance. Last year, CVAN helped 1,744 battered women and their children. Services included 24-hour Hotline, Shelter, Court Programs, Outreach Center, among other services. Your help is needed to make a difference in our community through the CVAN “Men for Change” campaign.
This is how it works – men and men’s groups give $100 each. Anyone can give $100 in the honor or memory of a man. All men will be listed in a full-page newspaper ad in the Independent Tribune on Father’s Day, June 21.
There are brochures at the back of the church. Or you can go to www.cvan.org for more information on the “Men for Change” campaign and to pay online. You can also contact David Baxter for more information.

We had a great turnout for both of our Congregational Meetings this week! Thank you for taking the time to share your perspectives. The information that was gathered on hundreds of post-it notes will be distilled and become critical in the Search Committee's task of preparing our parish portfolio. The portfolio will be the primary marketing piece published throughout the Episcopal Church, and used to introduce All Saints' to candidates for Rector. We are also grateful to Canon Marion Sprott, who not only facilitated the sessions but also for continuing to shepherd All Saints' through our Rector search journey.
If you were not able to attend either Congregational Meeting, there will be an opportunity to respond to the questions Canon Sprott presented to us. More information to follow!
You may have also noticed that the ten members of the committee are sporting blue "Rector Search Committee" ribbons on their name badges. We want to be accessible to you! Do you have questions, or want to share more of your thoughts with us? Approach any one of us to have a conversation! You can also reach out specifically to our co-chairs Joy Marie De Block or Randy Brantley. Their information is in Realm.

Don't forget non-perishable food – help feed our neighbors! Every Sunday morning please bring non-perishable food for our neighbors. Place food in the baskets in worship spaces or the food donations bin in the welcome center. All donations are delivered to the CCM Food Pantry for distribution.
Year-to-date, we have provided over 1,200 pounds of food. In March, during the Lenten food drive, we donated more food than any other participating group, including other local churches and the Boy Scouts. This isn’t a competition, but a reflection of our care for our neighbors. Keep up the great work!!
Common items like ramen, canned tuna or chicken, pasta, canned vegetables (low sodium please), fruit cups, and paper goods (paper towels, toilet paper) are especially needed.
