Mark your calendar! August 2-8 is our congregation’s week to serve meals at the Salvation Army Center of Hope Night Shelter. We still have three (3) evenings open! This ministry provides not only a filling meal, but is also an opportunity to meet people in our community who are often treated as invisible. Volunteers are needed throughout the week to help prepare, serve, and share hospitality with residents. If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Gary Kovar.
A sincere thanks for continuing to donate non-perishable food for the CCM food pantry. Year-to-date we have provided 1,600 pounds of food. The items of greatest need at the moment are: baked beans, dry beans, kidney beans, white beans, tomato sauce, broth, soups, canned fruit, fruit cups, tuna fish, mixed vegetables, paper towels, toilet paper, and nutritional drinks. Food can be placed in the baskets in both the Parish Hall and Nave or in the rolling bin near the men's bathroom in the Welcome Center.
