UNCOM is Hiring a WIOA Career Planner

Hours: Full Time

Rate of Pay: Commensurate with experience F/T 40hrs per wk.

Under the supervision of UNCOM’s Program Director, the WIOA Career Planner will work in UNCOM’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Employment Program as a member of the team to provide job development and employment services for young adults ages 14-24. Services include skills training, social and career counseling, labor market and employment information, academic support, and follow up services.

Menzies Aviation is Hiring!

Menzies Aviation is looking to fill a PT Ramp Supervisor at Mitchell International Airport.

 

Pay Rate: $17/hr

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise ramp and passenger service agents, allocating staffing resources as needed
  • Complete shift reports and clear all exceptions from the T&A system in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that personnel adhere to established company safely regulations.
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage and cargo routing lags.
  • Assist in the baggage handling area.
  • May occasionally operate various pieces of ground support equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age:
  • Must have a High school diploma, GED:
  • Abily to proficiently read, wile and speak English,
  • Excellent communication skills:
  • Able to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
  • Must have current driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years.
  • Competent in handling difficult situations:
  • Ability be safely Ift up to 70 pounds.
  • Advanced computer skills:
  • Must pass all pre-employment testing to include drug testing and a physical.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badge seals.
  • Must be able and flexible to work variables shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work is done partially outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
