“God’s mercies are new each morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
(Lamentations 3:22)
| Dear OSLC members and friends, |
In the last couple of weeks, you’ve likely noticed friends, family and neighbors posting “back to school pictures,” on social media. A friend in my book club has a third grade daughter who was rather talkative on her way to school today. She couldn’t wait to see all of her friends and start a new grade.
Brian and I also joined in the fun as today is the first day of school for North St. Paul school district. Brian begins his second school year on their technology team today. We are so thankful that Brian found a local job just 9 miles from our home that fits him like a glove. It was after I posted this picture on Facebook, that I began to also feel excitement about all the possibilities God has for Our Savior’s in this new year. Tomorrow is “Blessing of the Animals” worship at 6 pm. Rally Sunday will be a day of great celebration with a church party and a ministry fair. The Burger Bash, Rally Wednesday and Faith Formation will begin soon. My weekly Bible study on Thursday mornings begins on September 14th at 9:30 AM. There is something exciting about a new school year.

What brings me the greatest joy is our fall theme: Power Surge. In the first couple of months of school, we will be exploring spiritual practices that will reenergize us and fill our cups up to overflow to the world around us. Spending time with God through worship, prayer, serving and generous living fills us with energy and purpose. I invite all of you to join us for an exciting fall season here at OSLC! Bring friends, family and neighbors. All are welcome to join in the fun. | |

Blessing of the Animals

Join us on September 6 at OSLC for a special outdoor worship service. Bring your favorite animals/pets for a special blessing. If your special buddy is unable to make it in person, feel free to come to this time with a picture of them (or facetime option). Women's Circle
Looking for a place to gather with other women to talk about your faith? Circles are a community of women where fellowship, friendship, Bible Study, service and advocacy are nurtured.
They meet monthly and each month do a Bible Study and have fellowship over coffee, a light meal, or dessert. Some meet in homes and others meet at church. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of send an email to Becky Maier at [email protected]. Much caring and friendship grow from within a circle of women.
