Meditation Moment
From the Pastor...
"Behold I am making all things new."
 (Isaiah 43:19)
Dear OSLC members and friends,

On Saturday, our nephew graduated from Stillwater High School. It was an amazing milestone for all of the graduates. Brian and I feel so blessed that we hosted Andre all school year. Yesterday he boarded a plane to go home to Mexico for a couple of months. He returns to us in August as he will study at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa next year for pre-med and music.
This past weekend was a time of deep reflection and waves of emotions for many families with graduations. When we blessed our own graduates here at OSLC, Chad reminded us that even “graduation is not a graduation,” from the church. Faith is something that is ongoing as we continually walk with God our entire lives. It is so fitting that the ceremony for graduation is called: commencement. That is, “beginning.” In the beginning, God created. God always makes everything new every day.
If you find yourself feeling melancholy of the past or fearful of the future, trust that God is with you in this liminal space of the holy present. Today is a new day. Now is a fresh clean start to recognize that God is making all things new in creation outside, and also within each of us. God is with you on your journey.

Mom's Night Out

Come join us for Mom's night out on Friday, June 10, at 6:00 pm. Terri Rose Anderson will be our hostess at 208 Maryknoll Drive in Stillwater. Pizza, beverages & wine will be provided. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share along with a lawn chair as we will be outside, weather permitting.

This is a great opportunity to meet other mom's from the church. Feel free to bring a friend. Please RSVP to Darla Goble (darla@oslcstillwater.org or 651-308-8641) so we know how many to expect.
Praying for VBS

Lois Ross (Darla’s mom) would like to start a prayer team for VBS. She is looking for those who would be willing to be in scripture and pray each day for the VBS kids and their families. She feels called to gather people to lift up these families in prayer before and during VBS. Lois will also be praying every day for the volunteers and staff who will be leading this important ministry for kids. Please contact Darla at darla@oslcstillwater.org if you are interested.
Keep in your prayers!

Tuesday, June 14, will be the 1 year anniversary of the death of Ed Schmidt. Please remember this anniversary in prayer as we ask for personal strength for his family.
