We all know school attendance is important, but did you know:

• Students who attend school regularly achieve at higher levels than students who do not attend regularly.
• Some children miss 10% of the school year. That’s almost a month of instruction per year.
• A history of high absenteeism is a common trait among high school dropouts.

Please watch this short video in English and Spanish and hear, in the words of Fort Worth ISD students and educators, why attendance matters.

Todos sabemos que asistir a la escuela es importante, pero sabían que:

• One (1) sixth grade center
• Two (2) middle schools
• One (1) high school

• Surrounds the TCU area: On the eastern side of the pyramid, Daggett Elementary School and De Zavala feed into Daggett Middle School. George C. Clarke, Alice D. Contreras, Tanglewood, Overton Park, Lily B. Clayton, and Westcliff elementary schools feed into McLean 6th grade and then into McLean middle school.

• Doce (12) escuelas
