Chris Spare was in the first class of formally trained volunteer docents in the Spring of 2021. Four sessions, an hour and a half in length and a lot of studying later, she is one of our most consistent docents.

For the month of February, the Hagen History Center will be recognizing African Americans in Erie County: A Trail of Shared Heritage (The Trail).

NOW OPEN! Pop-Up Exhibit “100 Years of Love and Friendship” located on the 2nd floor of the Watson-Curtze Mansion.

People have enjoyed exchanging Valentine’s for hundreds of years. Our new exhibit showcases some of our Valentine greetings from our archives. On display are Valentine’s dating back to the 1830s to 1940s.

Hagen History Center is looking for Museum Guides

Docent/Guide training will begin with an introduction to the program and the exciting new exhibits. Attendees will be given an in-depth tour of Hagen History Center, written materials on the history of the buildings and exhibits on our campus, as well as engaging stories about the people featured in the exhibits.

The Carriage House Gift Shop has lots of treats to give to your lovey dovey's, gals and pals this Valentine's Day season.

Re-Visioned Spring Expressions jewelry line in pink hues, Sacred Ayla Tea Co. in heart healthy flavors, charming Frank Lloyd Wright votive candle holders, and our specialty Wolverine blend coffee from North Edge Craft Coffee paired with a great mug are some of our favorite selections!
