Mother Goose Stories on Zoom:

Longwood Gardens Community Reads Program
These programs are part of the Longwood Gardens Community Reads Program. Everyone who participates will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a Family Pass to Longwood Gardens. All programs are on Facebook unless otherwise noted.

Spring Reading Challenge
April 1-May 31
Worms are good for growing a garden and books are good for growing our brains. Join us for a fun online reading challenge on Beanstack. For each badge we earn, we will add a worm to our garden display at the library. Stop by to watch our garden grow. This challenge is open to readers of all ages.
April Grab N Go Kits
Explore Nature
Stop by the library to pick up this month's Grab N Go Kits (while supplies last). Each kit contains an engineering project and other activities about exploring nature. You may pick up 1 kit per child in the Children's Room or through Curbside pick up.
Virtual Sticker Board!

Time Travel Tuesdays (Ages 9-12)

Where and when will Nicole go next? Adventurers are invited to join Nicole as she journeys to the past using books. This program is intended for young people ages 9-12, but all are welcome to these adventures through time. Hosted on Facebook.

Tween Graphic Novel Book Club

Join Ms. Nicole on Zoom to discuss the Graphic Novel Animal Jack: The Heart of the Forest by Kid Toussaint. This book can be checked out for free on Hoopla. Register here to get the Zoom link. Ages 9-12.

Book Finders
Looking for some book ideas? Can’t get into the library? Get help from our Book Finders! Simply fill out this form and one of our Youth Services staff will select books and place them on hold for you. You will be notified when they are available to be picked up. Then, you can stop by the library during our regular hours and pick them up inside the library or through curbside pick up. Please allow up to 3 business days for us to fulfill your request. Questions can be emailed to youthservices@ivpl.org.
