We are delighted to welcome The Rev. Kim F. Capwell as Interim Rector!

Please join us in welcoming him at a reception between the two services on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

Pastoral Announcement
Barbara Smith, long-time parishioner, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Many of you will remember Barbara and her grandson, Michael Smith, walking to church when they lived on Old Capitol Trail. 
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at St. James' Episcopal Church, Mill Creek Hundred, 2106 St. James Church Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where a memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately. 
A reception will follow the service at the Star Health Science Complex in Newark, Delaware.  Michael and his family hope you will join them.

2019 Annual Bazaar & Turkey Dinner

Bazaar Bake Shop
Please bring your baked goods, jams, jellies, pickles, candies, etc. to the
Parish House at the following times.
                        Thursday, October 31 st                              5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
                       Friday, November 1 st                                 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
                       Saturday, November 2 nd                           8:00 am – 12:00 pm
As Thursday the 31 st is Halloween, anyone who needs to drop off their items earlier, please contact Shirley Alexander (738-5331) to arrange a time.

The St. James’ Bazaar Ladies

November 2 is our Annual Turkey Dinner Fun oops! FUND Raiser!

There are still some tickets available but HURRY! 

Ticket prices are the same as last year $15 adult, $14 senior (65+),
and children (5-10) $8, 4-under free (however must have a ticket)

Ticket sales are underway in the church office Tuesday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. We shall also be selling tickets at the door.

We are also gratefully accepting cash/check donations to help offset the cost of purchased items such as eggs, dinner rolls, etc. We hope to see all you of on November 2.
