Worship at 9:00am - One Service
Celebrant/Preacher - The Rev. Cn. Lloyd Casson

Although the Vestry has no new updates this week, we want to assure you that we are always ready to serve and support you.

As a reminder, your Vestry consists of: Carolyn Joynt, Senior Warden; Ed Clark, Junior Warden; Valerie Brunson, Jim Craig, Eileen Marvel, David Perry, Ian Prescott, Margaret Russ, Bruce Vrana, and Susan Winward. Nancy Patterson is Clerk of the Vestry, Steve Prescott is Parish Treasurer, Sam White is Disbursing Treasurer, and Susan Winward is Receiving Treasurer.

As our transition continues, we thank you for your continued prayers and positive thoughts during this time.

The Vestry

St. James' Pastoral Care Team is here for you and wants to help.
If you or someone you know is in need, we send cards, make phone calls, make home and hospital visits, and make Eucharistic visits. Also, during this time of transition, if you need a priest we will help with that, too.
Please call the office (302-994-1584) and leave a message. Someone will get back to you. Messages are retrieved daily, seven days a week. Or, on Sundays there are forms and envelopes labeled "Pastoral Care" next to the prayer requests in the church entrance. Please place your request in the offering plate or the prayer basket.
Please let us know if you need us or someone you know needs us, we won’t know if you don’t tell us.

Thanks from a Family Promise Family

We recently received this note from one of the families that we have helped break the cycle of homelessness through Family Promise. It was so touching that we wanted to share. The note is as follows:

Thank you guys for your hospitality. Our own family didn't make us feel at home and wanted as you guys did. We appreciate what you did for our family. All of your Volunteers are the best. They are dedicated, very special people. I loved that we had supper every night and shared our day, which in turn helped everyone have a great night, sleep, and wake up to very productive days. Thank you again.

Volunteers, thank you for all you do for Family Promise. You are truly making a difference.
