Emergency Notice
From Father Kim,

Dear Members of St. James':

Due to the increasing spread of this virus and the fact that the state of Delaware has declared a state of emergency, Bishop Brown has ordered "an immediate suspension of all public worship services within the Diocese of Delaware for the next two weeks". This suspension of worship will be reviewed as the situation warrants. Therefore Sunday worship at St. James' is cancelled for 3/15 and 3/22/20. At this time we are hoping to resume worship on Sunday 3/29 but in any event we will let you know for sure. Bishop Brown has indicated that he will make exceptions for funerals already scheduled, therefore at this time the funeral for Peg Lange on Saturday will go on as scheduled.

If any needs arise please feel free to call me on my cell (973) 945-4293

Please remember, God loves us and will see us through these times.
For the next two Sundays let us hold each other in prayer at the hour of our worship so while not together in person we may be together in common prayer!

God bless, Kim

Note: adult education and other scheduled gathering at church are also cancelled during this period.

The pastora l care team is also available to you, simply call the church office at 302.994.1584 and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Quoted from a Prayer in a Time of Coronavirus by Rabbi Joseph R. Black

We pray for healing of those who are affected. We pray that those who are healthy will remain so. We pray that this crisis will end and that lives and livelihoods will be spared.
