American Red Cross Blood Drive

Help save lives at our next American Red Cross Blood Drive. Ages 17 and older. By appointment only. No walk-ins. Many times are available; sign up here.

REMINDER: Eat a hearty breakfast and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating. We will serve warm breakfast burritos at the blood drive.

H.S. Grad Dinner

Calling all Grads and their immediate families!

It's time to celebrate our amazing high school graduates! Join us for a special night at our annual Grad Dinner on Wednesday, May 13, 6pm in Fellowship Hall. Let's honor their journey, share memories, and send them off with love and blessings. $10 per person / No charge for the graduate

Royal Family Kids Camp

Volunteers Still Needed

May 31st - June 5th

Royal Family Kids Camp is a life-changing mission experience like no other, for both the foster children and the volunteers!

We do not want to turn any kids away, so we are asking for your help. We especially need men volunteers for the week of May 31st - June 5th in the cool pines of northern Arizona.

No experience with foster kids is necessary. We provide the training and the leadership.

The week is full of great activities and rewarding experiences. Join us and see what a difference it will make in your life and the lives of the kids we serve. To learn more and apply, please click here.

Vacation Bible Xperience 2026

Destination: Jesus

July 13-17th, 9am - 12pm

This year your child will learn what Destination Jesus is and how this can guide their young lives. Each day we will learn together about God's Word. Throughout the week kids will experience games, crafts, music, snacks and more! Your child MUST be at least 4 years old by September 1, 2026. Invite family, classmates, or neighbors on this journey with Jesus...the greatest adventure of all!

Volunteers, 7th graders through adults, are also needed to make the week run smoothly. From being in front of the kids to 'behind the scenes,' there are many ways we can use you. Sign up at the link below. Click on the purple box that says 'Volunteer Info.'

Dragon Boat Festival Race Results

Great job, Team La Casa, on your first dragon boat race! Team La Casa was the first church to ever enter a team at the 20th Annual Arizona Dragon Boat Festival on Saturday, March 28th. Luann Helepololei, who introduced us to Dragon Boat racing, said, "On Sunday (3/29) at the festival, people were still talking about the 'corporate team' that made it to 'B' division finals after just two practices!"

The races can be very close, and these are the results:

• Race 1 - 1:10:00 min. (1st place by .09 seconds!)
• Race 2 - 1:15:29 min. (The team's average for 2 races was 1:12:64, which placed them in the 'B' division finals.)
• Finals - 1:12:55 min., great time!

Luann is on a year-round team, The Phoenix Fire Dragons, and hopes we will enter a team again next time.

Board of Trustees Meeting Highlights

On March 23rd, the Board got together on the La Casa campus for a meeting.

• The Board heard and accepted the reports of the Chairperson, Lead Pastor and Treasurer.
• The Treasurer discussed the La Sagrada Familia budget along with the consolidation of various accounting platforms.
• We had an ongoing discussion regarding the objectives and plans for the Next Steps appeal.
• On March 8 we held our annual congregational meeting. The meeting provided the church leadership an opportunity to both reflect on 2025 and share in our goals leading into 2026.
