The Gospel of Matthew presents Jesus as the promised Messiah, the long-expected King. This 4-session class will follow Jesus the King as He nears Jerusalem and enters the city on Palm Sunday. We will view Jesus’ final week with its dangerous conflicts, His strong denunciations, and His apocalyptic warnings—all through the eyes of Matthew. We will see Jesus endure the cross and triumph through it, boldly declaring, “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me.” What does it mean for us today to be followers of King Jesus, to give Him our allegiance, and to anticipate the coming of His Kingdom?

Registration for the 2025/2026 School Year

We are very excited to unveil our new online registration for the 2025/2026 school year! Online registration is now open as of February 3rd! We encourage current families to register sooner than later, as you will receive a discounted registration fee of $250 (non-refundable) when you register during the month of February. New! Half-Day Kinder Class Option

Do you love La Casa Preschool and our teachers so much you have wished you would have the option to stay through Kindergarten? Well, in the 2025/26 school year your wish just came true! We will be offering a half-day Kinder class from 9:15am-12:00pm (Monday - Friday). Click here.

Spring Sprint Fun Run Days Fundraiser

It's time to run! And run and run and run!!! Again and again!!! On Monday, March 5 or Tuesday, March 6, you are invited to come and cheer on your preschool "runner."

Parents, family members and friends can show support of this fundraiser by pledging an amount per lap around the track (aka: the preschool courtyard) or a flat fee, if preferred. Contact the preschool office at 480-998-0866 for details.

Sunshine Acres 'Usable Goods' Collection Drive

Time to do a little spring cleaning that helps everyone! Bring your useable clothing and household items to school on Friday, March 21, between 8am-12:00pm. Drop them off in the appropriately marked areas designated in the parking lot near the preschool office. The Sunshine Acres truck will be here to pick up at 12:15pm on the 21st so don't be late!! All items are appreciated and will be put to good use for a very good cause! Thank you for your support of this community service!

Easter Basket Ministry has been a long-standing outreach of La Casa de Cristo. Please help us fill Easter bags with chocolate bunnies and other items to deliver to senior citizens in group homes, homebound La Casa members, and our veterans.

You can help by making a credit card donation here (select Easter Basket Donations from the drop down menu), bringing in items (see below), and/or making or delivering the bags here. Please bring items in by March 2nd.

Art Show on Palm Sunday

Calling all artists! Paintings, sculptures, poems, or creations… come show off your work at La Casa de Cristo’s Art Show! This is a way of sharing your gifts with the church. Nothing is for sale, it is only for enjoying each other’s work. By registering online you will receive table space with your name. Spectators do not need to register to attend. It is free and open to the public. All are welcome to come browse the art on Sunday, April 13 from 9:00–11:45am outside in the open air of La Casa de Cristo’s courtyard. Artists register here.

PV Community Food Bank

Thank you for your generous donations to the Food Bank. There continues to be a high demand for food in our area, and the folks at the food bank greatly appreciate our support. Item of the month for February is toothbrushes / toothpaste, and for March, it will be canned fish or meat, but we appreciate any food and toiletry donations. Please drop off at weekend worship (look for the wooden bins) or the church office, 9am-4pm weekdays. Please: no glass jars.

If you have a little bit of time once in a while to deliver the donated food items which are dropped off in the wooden bins each week, please sign up here.
