Lent Small Group Facilitators are Needed

Pastor Matthew Knopf has written our 2026 Lent devotional for this season, titled "This We Believe."

  • We need YOU to facilitate a small group! It's easy! No prior experience necessary.
  • Click here to sign up.
  • Small Group sign-ups coming soon.

Pastor Matt's lent devotional will be available for sale ($5 cash or check) after services beginning the weekend of January 31/February 1. Look for Nancy Berry after each service!

Tap to Connect Technology

We want to introduce a new and easy method of accessing La Casa de Cristo's website. You will see on the pew box a tag that looks just like this graphic titled 'CONNECT' where you can point the top edge of your smart phone and it will automatically connect to our website.

There will people at each service on the weekend who can answer questions and help you navigate the process.

La Casa de Cristo's E-News

You may think it's funny that we're talking about the e-news within the e-news, but we want to be sure we are getting the word out to new members, and anyone else who would be interested in what is going on here at La Casa de Cristo each week.

As to not flood your inbox, we send one weekly Wednesday e-news, and then, once a month, we send you the Cristo Connection Newsletter, which is chock full of interesting and useful articles from different ministries, along with a clickable calendar of 'Key Dates' to find out more about what we have going on each month.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Friday, February 6 at 6:30-8:30pm

Gathering Place

$30 per couple (no matter the number of daughters)

Join us for a heart warming Daddy Daughter Dance, a special evening created just for daughters and their dads or a cherished father figure. This fun and meaningful night will include dancing, a hands-on craft, sweet desserts, a photo booth, and plenty of time to laugh, connect, and make memories together. Whether it's your first dance or a favorite tradition, this event is a beautiful way to celebrate the bond between dads and daughters in a joyful, welcoming atmosphere. Questions? Email Staci Medina at smedina@lacasadecristo.com.

Please register here.

Baptisms

Lutherans accept two sacraments: Baptism and Holy Communion. In Baptism, God makes the baptized person a member of his family and bestows on him/her the gift of the Holy Spirit. Lutherans baptize all ages, infant to adult, and most Lutheran congregations baptize by pouring a small amount of water upon the head. If you or someone in your family would like to be baptized at the church, we welcome you with open arms.

Please find an orientation class here that fits your schedule.

After you have completed orientation, please call the church office, 480-948-1234, to schedule the baptism with Angie.
