VBX 2026 ~ Destination: Jesus

Woo hoo! What a week we are having! Hundreds of kids on our campus are taking off to new destinations each day as they hear about Jesus while having the time of their lives! Want to get a glimpse of the fun? Watch the opening each morning at around 9:10am on LaCasaLive.com.

Thank you to our many incredible volunteers who have been pouring into the children, whether it is during music, crafts, story time, or recreation. And don't forget snack time!

Our amazing Children's director, Staci Medina, and her partner in all things KIDS, Abby Ostlie, have outdone themselves with the theme, skits, and decorations! Thanks, also, to all the 'behind the scenes' staff and volunteers who have made everything run so smoothly.

Eagle's Nest Thrift Shop



Donations are now being accepted in the church office Mon-Fri ONLY (not weekends) until July 24, to stock the shelves of the thrift shop located in Campo Bello Elementary School, which is where many of the students from our sister parish, La Sagrada Familia, attend. This shop was started decades ago by a congregant of La Casa de Cristo, and it has been volunteer run all these years, the proceeds of which benefit Campo Bello Elementary School's activities. They are open one day a week for the Campo Bello families to shop at a nominal cost.

They accept men's, women's, and children's clothing and shoes, small household items, including decorating items, gently used sheets, towels, bedspreads, pillows, kitchen appliances, dishes, serving pieces, toys of any kind, home repair items, arts and crafts.

Beginning Wednesday, July 22nd, and continuing EVERY Wednesday throughout the school year (except when closed for holidays), donations will be accepted at the Eagles Nest located at 2625 E. From today until July 24, you may bring items to the church office of La Casa de Cristo (Mon-Fri ONLY from 9am-3pm). Please do not bring donations to services on the weekend.
