All Youth Registration Reminder

Parents! Kids and Youth groups resume on August 9. Register all of your kids, ages birth to 18 years of age, on one form for:

•  Nursery Care (Kate Fegan) at 9:15am and 10:30am

• Kids 4yrs through 5th grade (with Staci Medina and Abby Ostlie) in Room 101 at 9:15am and 10:30am

• Middle and High School - 6th through 12th grade (with Suzan Scudder and Christopher Roberts) in 205 at 9:15am

Annual Mac-'n-Cheese Challenge

Can you believe it's almost August?? Last August, you all outdid yourselves and brought in 20,668 boxes of the very popular cheesy, delicious comfort food! We are blessed by your extreme generosity!

PV Community Food Bank is very grateful for the continued support of La Casa de Cristo's congregation! As one member said, "Who wouldn't want to be part of this ministry?"

Our goal is to smash last year's record, so let's bring on the Mac 'n Cheese 2026 Challenge by beating last year's total as a congregation! All donations can be dropped off in the church office M-F from 9am-4pm, or in the bins at each service on all five weekends in August.

Can't get out to the store? You can still participate by giving electronically. Just go to La Casa de Cristo's 'Give' page, select 'Give with Credit Card,' and then select 'Food Bank' from the drop down box and your donation will go toward the purchase of Mac 'n Cheese. Thank you!!

Confirmation 2026-27

Incoming Confirmation Students!

Confirmation at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church is an opportunity for teenagers to publicly “confirm" their faith in Jesus Christ. Confirmation is a wonderful two-year program for 7th and 8th graders, taking place during the school year (August through May). Other aspects of the program include Sunday morning church and youth group attendance, as well as a variety of community service projects.

Lifelong friendships and memories are made, while the students experience the love of God and make a personal commitment to follow Jesus for life! Confirmation Camp takes place in June and is a requirement of the program. Each student has a prayer sponsor who, throughout the year, lifts their Confirmand up in prayer and writes them notes of encouragement.

Classes will be held in person on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 5:00 - 6:00pm, beginning August 11/12.

Parents are required to attend the first class.

Operation Bible

All third graders are invited to participate in the Operation Bible class. Students are taught about what’s in the Bible and how to use it. They learn that God’s Word is alive and active! Upon completion of the course, students receive their own Bible at the Sunday worship service at 10:30am. Operation Bible is offered once a year.

Jordan & Israel Tour 2027

Join La Casa de Cristo on a Bible tour to Israel and Jordan. You will visit The Sea of Galilee, The Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Petra, and so much more! Step into the Scriptures and walk where Jesus walked. You will never read the Bible the same way again!

Tour dates are February 18 - March 5, 2027.
