Annual Meeting of the Congregation

The Annual Meeting of the congregation will be Sunday, March 8, at 11:45am in the Gathering Place after 10:30am worship. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the proposed 2026 Ministry and Building Fund budget and review 2025 ministries. All baptized and confirmed members are eligible to vote.

Understanding Dementia: A Challenging Journey by Hospice of the Valley

Saturday, March 28th, 9am - 11am

Come learn about dementia and how it progresses from early to advanced stages. You will learn how to develop strategies to make and maintain meaningful connections with a person with dementia. We’ll explore ways to reduce stress and further the value of the caregiver role.

Serve at St. Vincent de Paul on Easter!

Sunday, April 5 at 10:00am

There are five spots left to serve at St. Vincent de Paul on Easter Sunday, April 5th. Join our fun team as we serve the noon meal to those in need. We will be done by 1:30pm.

This is a rewarding opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus! On the first Sunday of every month, a group goes to the Phoenix dining room located at 1300 W. Harrison St., Phoenix 85007, and they prep and serve, then clean up after the noon meal. Bring your spouse, a teen who needs service hours, or a friend, and make new friends who have a heart to serve!

After you register, you will receive an email from Luann Helepololei (Lch03@aol.com) with the gate code to enter the SVdP parking lot, and any other instructions you may need. However, if you would like to ride with someone who is leaving from the church after the 8am service, please let Luann know.

Finding Meaning and Hope

Join a group of fellow family caregivers to learn how to regain hope and build resilience when dealing with the challenges of caring for someone with dementia or cognitive impairment. The series features videos and discussion. You will learn skills that can help you navigate your caregiving journey with healing and hope. If you are overwhelmed and not sure what to do next, this program offers a chance to connect with a community of people who truly understand the challenges of caregiving. The class is free.
