Trunk or Treat is almost here!

Saturday, Oct. 26, 6-8 p.m.

It's not too late to decorate your car's trunk or the bed of your pickup truck, dress in costume, and join in the fun of this spooktacular event, which takes place in La Casa de Cristo’s front parking lot. Click here for more information and to register your car.

• We still need candy donations, which can be dropped off during church office hours (9am-4pm through Friday, the 25th). Thank you!

Trunk or Treat, a safe event for all families, is a blast! There will be music, dancing, and lots of candy! The event is FREE to attend (no registration required), and affordable food will be available to purchase. Tell everyone you know!

Important Weekends are Coming Up!

Reformation Weekend! (October 26/27)

We are a constantly reforming church. God is always up to something new! This weekend we celebrate the Reformation that Martin Luther kick-started in 1517. But, we also celebrate our ongoing reforming ways of sharing the Gospel with the world around us. Join us in worship this weekend to celebrate the Reformation of the 15th century and of today! We will have special music and special ways of celebrating! Wear RED to join the fun!

All Saints Weekend (November 2/3)

On November 2/3 we will honor the saints who have gone before us with a special memorial as a part of our worship services. We will be including a tribute for our church brother and sisters who have died into the hands of Christ in the past year. Then, all are welcome for a special service on Sunday at noon in the memorial garden to pay homage to all who have gone before us. Please join us for this special occasion.

The Next 50 – A Look Ahead at What’s Next!

(November 9/10)

Join us in worship on November 9/10 as Pastor Jeff and Pastor Matt continue our Next 50 Cruise! Our captains will be sharing with us important details about our next Cruise Port Destinations, such as: what we can look forward to in 2025, survey results information, and more! For those who have them, please wear your Next 50 Set Sail Church T-Shirt on this weekend.

Cyprus and Nicaea Anniversary Tour



Next June 8-21, 2025, La Casa de Cristo is taking a trip to Cyprus, Istanbul, Nicaea, Cappadocia, and more! This marks the 1700th anniversary of the first Council of Nicaea, where the Nicene Creed began formation. Join Pastor Matt on this special tour to Nicaea to celebrate this grand anniversary occasion that only happens once-in-a-century! We will tour Biblical sites in Cyprus and places important to early Christian theological formation in Turkey. Christmas Caroling

Merry Christmas! Would you like to join a group of carolers we are forming to bring joy to others this Christmas season? When we sing to the glory of God, we cheer others up!

All are invited to our first meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7pm upstairs in Room D (there is an elevator for those who need it), at which time the group will decide which songs to sing, where we will go to sing, and how many nights of caroling we will do.

Plan to meet each Tuesday in Room D at 7pm for rehearsals, Nov. 5 through Dec. 17. Sign up here.
