We will look at the Golden Rule movement, an effort to expand legal protections for "competent yet vulnerable" adults. Altar Flowers

Honor your loved ones or celebrate a special occasion in your life with flowers to adorn the altar! Once the 9:15am service is over, you are welcome to take the flowers you donated home to enjoy. You can keep the vase, or return it to the church office to be reused by Cactus Flowers.

As you may have read in a previous communication, the price of altar flower arrangements have more than tripled in price due to inflation and tariffs, which has caused us to raise the price to $95 per arrangement beginning in January 2026. This new price is still discounted from what the church is being charged, so the church will subsidize the balance. Purchase an arrangement here.

Answers to Trivia Questions from October Cristo Connection

October 31 is known for Halloween, but what is November 1 known for?

All Saints Day. On November 1, we remember and celebrate all the saints who have gone on before us.

In the Bible, what does the Feast of Harvest celebrate?

First Fruits. "First Fruits" refers to the first portion of the harvest which is given to God, meaning that all good things come from God, and, thus, God should be first in our lives.
