Young Adults Group

Wednesdays beginning September 10

Tonight! All 18-29 year-olds are welcome to meet together for La Casa’s Young Adults group. They meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30pm in Room 212 (2nd story of Youth Building). The fall season starts on September 10, and continues weekly. Come early at 5:15pm for the all-church dinner if you want to enjoy a delicious meal before we start.

Heart to Heart Grief Support



The next six-week session of La Casa's Heart to Heart Grief Support group begins Tuesday, October 14 and runs

through November 18, from 10am-12:00 in Room 207. Facilitated by Barbara Olson, the class is designed to assist you in: moving through the grieving process by providing the support of others who are also living with grief, allowing you to express your thoughts in a safe and supportive environment, and helping you discover ways to keep loved ones present in your heart while you build hope for your future. You do not have to be a member of La Casa de Cristo to attend, so please share this information with friends who may need loving support. Register here.

Trunk or Treat is Coming!

6pm-8pm

Trunk or Treat, a safe event for all families, is a blast! There will be music, dancing, and lots of candy! The event is FREE to attend (no registration required), and affordable food will be available to purchase.

Decorate your car's trunk or the bed of your pickup truck, dress in costume, and join in the fun of this spooktacular event, which takes place in the parking lot of La Casa de Cristo. Register your vehicle here.

Baking for MOMS and Wednesday Dinners

The Kitchen Crew is looking for bakers to make desserts for the Wednesday night dinners and MOMS events. All baking is done in the church kitchen and all instruction and supplies are provided. A food-handlers license is necessary and is easy to obtain on-line for $7.95!
