Join us on Wednesdays beginning September 10th for dinner at 5:15pm, followed by the first season of The Chosen, and see Jesus through the eyes of those He touched! Through scripture and the stories and lives of Simon Peter, Matthew, Mary Magdalene, Nicodemus, and a few of Jesus' miracle recipients, we can experience Jesus the way his followers did, and also be changed forever by His love.

Optional book will be for sale for $12.00. It is not necessary to purchase the book to participate in the class.

American Red Cross Blood Drive

Help save lives at our next American Red Cross Blood Drive. Let's try to reach 117 units this month! Ages 17 and older.

By appointment only. No walk-ins. Info and sign up here.

• To sign up for the blood drive, go to the Red Cross website (redcrossblood.org) and under “ZIP or Sponsor Code” enter lacasadecristo (all one word) and hit ‘Find a Drive.’ From there select the donation date and then the time that works for your schedule.

REMINDER: Eat a hearty breakfast and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating. We will serve warm breakfast burritos at the blood drive.

Holy Land Trip Q and A

Are you interested in traveling to the Holy Land with the church? Would you like to hear more, or do you have questions? Come join a Q and A session on Sunday, September 28th at the above times/locations. You will hear more about the trip and have the opportunity to ask any questions that you might have. La Casa de Cristo is leading a Holy Land tour to Jordan and Israel in May 2026. Everyone, including non-members, family and friends, are all welcome to join the trip — it is open to all. Note that there is an early bird price for those who sign up before October 1. Details and registration for the trip can be found online: lacasadecristo.com/Israel

Baking for MOMS and Wednesday Dinners

The Kitchen Crew is looking for bakers to make desserts for the Wednesday night dinners and MOMS events. All baking is done in the church kitchen and all instruction and supplies are provided. A food-handlers license is necessary and is easy to obtain on-line for $7.95!

Faith Questions

Ask Your Pastors

Do you have questions about faith, God, or the church? We want to hear them! Our pastors are taking time this week to respond to questions that you submit: lacasadecristo.com/questions – don’t miss the opportunity to hear responses to your questions live this weekend in worship at the 10:30 service. You can come to that service and submit your questions live in worship as well and the pastors will prayerfully respond to them. Together, we walk in faith.

In the most EPIC effort to get Pastor Jeff to sing LIVE at all the services this coming weekend, you all completely outdid yourselves this August by bringing in 20,668 (you read that right!) boxes of Mac 'n Cheese, 6,502 more than last August!! Our minds are blown and our feelings of gratitude are off the charts! The PV Community Food Bank is most thankful for the generosity of La Casa de Cristo! Bravo!!
