Adult Forum with Professor Bill Stancil this Sunday

Dr. Bill StancilJoin us in the undercroft between services this Sunday at 9:15 am for an Adult Forum featuring  Dr. Bill Stancil, Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at Rockhurst University in Kansas City.

Program:  Some of the commands of Jesus are hard because we don't understand them. Often, however, we understand them all too well but find them difficult to obey. Sunday's forum will focus on one the more difficult of Jesus' commands:
Do Not Be Anxious (Mt 6:31-32)

"Living Generously" Stewardship Campaign underway

Living Generously
This year's stewardship theme is a strong call to action to each of us as followers of Jesus. He showed us the way to live generously: by welcoming the outcast, by overturning the tables of the money changers in the temple, by dining with the poor and healing the sick, by teaching, by forgiving, and by ultimately giving his life so that all might have life abundant.   We believe each of us is called to live generous lives and that such generous living can transform us and our faith communities.  Click on a link below for more info:

Remembering our Saints
All Saints Day

In our annual observance of All Saints' Day we make those words a tangible reality in the here and now by recognizing and celebrating our relationship with those around us today and those who have gone before us in all times and places. Have your saints remembered by completing the request in the pews and placing it in the offering plate this Sunday.
