LENTEN-EASTER FORUM Embracing an Adult Faith
This Sunday between services

Please attend our Lenten-Easter forum this Sunday, part of a special 5-week study titled "Embracing an Adult Faith" by contemporary theologian Marcus Borg.  This is a video led program that lasts about 30 min followed by a short discussion.
The series will run through March and on April 9 and 23.

This is an engaging program that speaks to people concerning beliefs in God, Jesus, Salvation, Christian practice, and the Christian community.
A message from Fr. David

I look forward to Holy Week each year as the most celebrated time in our Christian heritage. It is the time that marks the most solemn and joyous parts of the journey of Jesus. I hope that all will carve out time to spend several evenings at Resurrection worshiping in several different liturgies as we culminate our Lenten journey with the Great Vigil of Easter and Easter Day.    Click here to read the entire message from Fr. Lynch +
Shoes being accepted until April 13

During Lent (through April 13), we will collect used footwear in any condition

Please place your donated shoes in a designated box that will be placed in the Narthex.   Members of the Outreach Committee will pack, count, and deliver them to All Saints Lutheran Church which will deliver them to the collection site for Soles for Souls. This organization will repair and pass on the footwear to those who have none.

Please invite your friends and family members to participate!  Click here for more information.
FRIDAYS DURING LENT Stations of the Cross
Praying of the Rosary at 11:30 am
Stations of the Cross at 12:15 pm and 7 pm
Join us every Friday during Lent beginning at 11:30 am with the Praying of the Rosary followed by Stations of the Cross at 12:15 pm.   Stations of the Cross will also be held at 7 pm each Friday.
Please contact Jr Warden Les Woodward

Resurrection is wanting to find individuals who have skills to help around the church, both inside and outside.  The talents we are looking for are carpentry, plumbing, painting, wall papering, yard work and general cleaning.  Help in these areas will allow us to keep the building looking its best, lighten the work load for all and provide a good impression for visitors.

Please sign the sheet in the Narthex and indicate your interests and skill capabilities. Co ntact Les Woodward, Junior Warden if you have questions.
Next Wednesday at 6 pm at Good Shepherd
Community Lenten Services
Resurrection is joining with other Blue Springs churches in the sharing of food, fellowship and worship during Lent.  Each Wednesday in Lent, one church will host a meal beginning at 6 pm, followed by a Lenten community service at 6:40 pm  This year's theme is "What does it mean to be a Blue Springs Faith Community?"  The weekly offering from each service will be donated to the Community Services League.

Remaining schedule:
March 29:  Good Shepherd Christian; message by R ev Andrew Florio
April 5:  First Christian Church of Blue Springs; m essage by Rev. David Lynch
