Yesterday's LIVE Lunch was held at the
Ramona Junior Fairgrounds and we had a fantastic time visiting with Ramona Junior Fair President Curtis Martineau, 4-H Rep Morgan Nelson, and FFA Rep Jasper Dilts. Check out the Facebook video (it's pretty short this week) to learn more about the Ramona Junior Fair being held July 23rd-31st.

The Ramona Junior Fair Pie Auction & BBQ will be held Saturday, July 16th. Auction starts at 6:00 p.m. BBQ is served 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Proceeds benefit 4-H, FFA, and Grange organizations and their scholarship funds and there are some incredible homemade desserts to enjoy. Cheers to the Valley Wine Festival Tickets are now available online! This annual wine tasting festival that kicks off the Ramona Country Fair features wineries from the Ramona Valley and their award-winning top wines.

As of July 14, confirmed caterers are Something Delicious and The Good Seed Food Co.; confirmed wineries are Correcaminos, Pamo Valley, Rancho San Martin, Scaredy Cat Ranch, Vineyard Grant James, Mermaid Valley, Principe di Tricase, and Scenic Valley Ranch, with more to follow. Updates will be shared via social media and on our website at https://ramonachamber.com/cheerstothevalley/. Tickets can be preordered online or by phone - they do NOT need to be picked up; your name will be on a list at check-in. Tickets can also be purchased at the event if it does not sell out.
Vendor applications for the Ramona Country Fair are being accepted through next Monday, July 18th.

Ramona Food and Clothes Closet’s Mobile Pantry, sponsored by Feeding San Diego, happens on the 3rd Friday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the parking lot behind 773 Main St., Ramona. The Ramona Junior Fair promotes the advancement of local youth through agriculture, industrial education, and recreational activities and exhibits. It's organized and operated through 100% volunteer efforts. Leaders from the community and participating 4-H, FFA and Grange Clubs come together to make this Fair possible. First Congregational Church is holding a TV & computer recycling drive this Saturday, July 16th, from 9am to 1pm.
Congratulations to Ramona Pony Baseball! The team is making history as one of the few teams in Ramona Pony History to make it to Zone or beyond. They are now fundraising to help offset the cost of travel. One of our "sister" Chambers, the Valley Center Chamber of Commerce, is celebrating their anniversary with a golf tournament at Native Oaks Golf Club at Woods Valley. It's a great opportunity to play a beautiful course AND benefit a worthwhile organization!
