This Week's Live Lunch with the Chamber

On yesterday's Lunch with the Chamber on Facebook LIVE, we had a fun visit with Mike Morris, GlobalTech Construction. Their focus is on clearing brush and cutting back firebreaks, operating specialized equipment allowing them to work smarter and save their clients time and money. Check out the video and see the backhoe in action—Joe even gets to drive it! Poway Grade Annual Maintenance November 1- 3

The Poway Grade, the section of Poway Road extending from Espola Road to Highway 67, will be closed for routine maintenance from Tuesday, Nov. 1 through Thursday, Nov. 3, from approximately 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Residents and businesses located on this section of Poway Road will be allowed access to their property; other traffic traveling to and from Highway 67 will be diverted to Scripps Poway Parkway. For questions, call Public Works Streets Supervisor Jesse Gonzales at (858) 668-4737 or Public Works Department at 858-668-4700.

Member Updates

Ramona Outpost's grand opening is coming up Friday/Saturday, November 11-12. Ramona Outpost was born out of a vision to eliminate the frustrations and confusion of online shopping. You won't find a huge selection of items that require special care: you WILL find clothes that are ready for action, or relaxing, whatever the day brings! RO is located in the Villa Rosa Centre down the hall from Mamma Ramona's. Watch for updates on their socials (Facebook / Instagram).

We are hosting a new member lunch on Tuesday. November 8, at 12:00 p.m. at D’ Carlos Restaurant. We will be taking pictures and share a press release for all new members attending.  Today we sent an email to members who have joined recently. Holiday Mixer

We are happy that H5 Financial and Juanita L. Cox EA will once again be hosting our Holiday Mixer! Attending a mixer is a great opportunity to have fun AND get exposure for your business! If you unable to attend but want to participate, we are happy to accept baskets or individual items/gift certificates for our opportunity drawings. You can drop off items at our office on weekdays 10am- 4pm up until the day of the event. Many thanks to Ramona Disposal Service and Jewelry World & Loan for your early donations!
