Our Mission:
Grow in God's grace. Love with all our heart. Serve with all our strength.
A Word from Pastor Tom
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

In the wake of deeply disturbing events yesterday in Washington D.C., the FUMC Sanctuary will be open this evening, January 7, 6:30-8pm for a time of come and go prayer and reflection. If you are unable to come in person, please take a few moments for prayer this evening that we might be united in a humble spirit before the Lord of all.

On this day after Epiphany, the date each year that the Church remembers Jesus’ manifestation to the nations (through the visit of the Magi), let us remember the words of that great hymn we sing at Christmas, “He rules the world with truth and grace.”

May the truth and grace of Christ guide us all in these days as we pray for the healing of our nation, in the hope that we might yet live into the promise of “One Nation, Under God.”

In His Peace,
Pastor Tom

P.S. The east doors of the Sanctuary (covered drive-way entrance) will be open from 6:30 – 8 pm.   Please enter from those doors and sign in at the table in the Narthex.

Finding Peace, A New Women's Study
Saturdays, January 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 1 to 2:30 pm. Online Zoom Meeting.

All women are invited to a thoughtful and inspiring four-part study based on the book, 'Finding Peace in an Anxious World' edited by Erin James-Brown. In this study we'll use each part of the Serenity prayer to consider how we can better respond to events in our lives that bring change and uncertainty. We will use familiar tools such as journaling, imagery, music, meditation and prayer.

Pastor Beth Kellner leads our discussions via Zoom. The book costs $10 and will be available by January 3 to pick up at the church during the drive-through communion service.
Please register your attendance here, and the Zoom link will be in your confirmation email. We hope to see you via Zoom on January 9th.
