Fr. Rob's Message

Dear Friends,

We have arrived to our Holy Week. Before us we have the most sacred and solemn week of the liturgical year. This is the time to embrace the most precious gift we have ever received, the gift of salvation from Jesus Christ who gave us His very life.

Today is our Palm Sunday marking the beginning of this Holy Week.

Palm Sunday recalls Jesus’ entrance into the city of Jerusalem. His entrance is noted in all four of our Gospels. People in jubilation, welcoming Jesus’ entrance, laid down their cloaks and palm branches as He arrived. This was the tradition of the day and a sign of highest honor. Parish Council Nominations!

WANTED: PARISH DREAMERS AND VISIONARIES!

The Pastoral Council is a leadership group called to serve the parishes of St. Catherine of Siena and the Church of the Transfiguration. We work with Father Rob and the staff of our churches to envision possibilities, discern needs, create plans, and guide actions in order to nourish the faith, life, and ministry of our parish communities.

The Pastoral Council includes 12 at-large members - 6 from St Catherine and 6 from Transfiguration. Each year we need two new members and an alternate from each parish’s membership. Three-year terms will begin in September 2025. To find out more or nominate someone (yes, you can nominate yourself!), click on the link below.
