Outdoor In-Person Sunday Worship
THIS SUNDAY
May 9 at 9:00 AM

Join us for our first Outdoor In-person Worship Service of the season this Sunday at 9:00 AM! Masks and social distancing will be required and BYOChair for all those who are able (with plaza seating available as needed). No RSVPs required, just come and join us! A friendly reminder that our new video and sound system will not only capture our service participants, but will also be able to capture our parishioners attending too, so keep an eye out for your friends if you are watching from home! We will still be live streaming these Outdoor Summer Services, so if you are unable to join in-person you are welcome to worship with us online!

Welcome All Newcomers
Monday, May 17 6:00 PM

In the Spring and Fall St. Michael's typically hosts an in-person Newcomer Gathering. However, with COVID and the global pandemic we have moved to plan B. If you are new to St. Michael's since our last Gathering in October 2020, you are invited to join our Rector, The Rev. Matt Holcombe and Linda Kean, Newcomer Ministry Coordinator for a Newcomer Gathering Zoom Party on May 17th at 6:00 PM. This gathering includes anyone living here, or anyone who has joined us as digital members of St. Michael’s from afar. We want to get to know you better and for you to get to know St. Michael’s better as well. Please join us! RSVP to Linda Kean at [email protected].
Calling all Singers!
Amalia is in need of Congregational Song Leaders for the outdoor summer Sunday services. We will rotate several singers per week to lead hymns, communion songs and other music. Everyone will be masked and safely distanced. You do not need to be a member of the choir or make a long-term commitment to participate. This is an easy, fun way to get involved in the liturgy! If you're interested please talk to Amalia after the service or email [email protected].
Children's Chapel
On break until next Fall...

Children's Chapel will be going on summer break starting this Sunday! Thank you to all who have joined us so far, it's been such fun to learn and worship together! But it's time for vacations and all sorts of adventures. Stay tuned for more information on how and when we will be getting our young parishioners involved again in the Fall!
All Parish Spring Book Read
May 19 & 26 6 - 7:30 PM

New York Times bestseller An Altar in the World, written by acclaimed author Barbara Brown Taylor continues her spiritual journey by building upon where she left off in Leaving Church. In An Altar in the World, Taylor shows us how to discover altars everywhere we go and in nearly everything we do as we learn to live with purpose, pay attention, slow down, and revere the world we live in. CLICK HERE to join the Rev. Matt Holcombe for a 2-week group discussion via Zoom on Wednesdays, May 19 & 26, 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
