Last week during our Annual Meeting we elected three new Vestry Members. Congratulations Linda Page, Russ Howell, & Rachel Stoller (top L to R). In addition, Kristy Callihan was re-elected as Senior Warden and Jim Marquart was elected Junior Warden. Next time you see Kristy, Jim, Linda, Russ, or Rachel thank them for their service to our spiritual home. We are so grateful for their leadership!

Our artists have been busy at work creating new Thumb-Buddy cards and designs for Valentines Day or any occasion. All proceeds benefit Cathedral Ridge Retreat & Conference Center.

The Lord's Dinner is back inside at Academy Christian Church on the West Side of Colorado Springs! We are the only church participating at this time, so we are in need of Trial & Travel Size toiletries (specifically shampoo and lotion and full size bars of soap). There will be a basket in the gathering area for Sunday, February 6 and Sunday, February 13, if you are able to help us out with these items.

This week St. Michael's delivered $1,500 in gift cards to Sister Carmens in Boulder. Since the fires Sister Carmen has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in gift cards to over 600 families impacted by the fires. St. Michael's partnered with Grace & St. Stephen's for the gift-card drive and are grateful to all who were able to contribute. Join the Rev. Matt Holcombe in-person for a Funeral Planning 101 Workshop sponsored by St. Michael's Legacy. During our time together you will have time to begin planning your funeral and your own Celebration of Life. Select hymns, readings, and let loved ones know your funeral wishes. This free estate planning seminar is open to all. What is estate planning? What should I be doing to protect my assets? We are delighted and excited to welcome Jan McLaughlin to the staff as our Treasurer and Bookkeeper. Jan has been volunteering for several months in our finance office and with the growth we've experienced over the last year, Jan will now be working regularly Tuesday-Thursdays in the office. Elise Jenkins' last day on the staff at St. Michael's will be February 10. Over the past year Elise has helped with various administrative tasks and audio/video initiatives. We are grateful for her many contributions and wish her the best in her future endeavors. You will be missed. Thank you Elise for all you've done!

All Seniors are invited to join us for our first 2022 happening - a guided tour of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10 AM followed by lunch (Dutch treat) at The Flame Restaurant.
