St. Michael's is delighted to welcome The Rev. Paul Lautenschlager back to St. Michael's. In his 47 years of ministry, Fr. Paul has served churches in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Illinois, and Colorado. Before retiring, Fr. Paul was the rector at St. Michael's from 2001 to 2012. Since his retirement Fr. Paul has been serving as a supply priest and short term interim in 12 churches across the Sangre de Cristo Region and throughout the Diocese of Colorado. Fr. Paul will be behind the altar this Sunday, February 14 and helping with several services in the coming months.

Join us for our Virtual Coffee Hour on Sunday, February 14 as we welcome The Rev. Canon Greg Foraker to St. Michael’s. Greg is the Canon of Formation for the Diocese of Colorado. He is responsible for providing resources and implementing ministries and programs that effectively equip church leaders for the work of evangelism, faith formation, and discipleship for people of all ages. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. This Ash Wednesday, following Diocesan guidelines and physical distancing measures, a member of the clergy is unable to impose ashes on your forehead. However, in the Lent-to-Go bag you will find a small container of blessed ashes that can be used to mark your own forehead and others in your home. Included in your Lent-to-Go bag are also prayers that you can say before, during, and after your place ashes on the forehead. Join us at the 6:00 PM online Ash Wednesday Service where there will be a time that you can impose ashes on yourself.
