PGKIDS MISSION GROUPS
Outdoor Fall Fun Night
THIS WEDNESDAY, Oct 27 // 7:00- 8:00 pm
The RA/GA/MF mission groups will have an outdoor Fall Fun Night hosted by our very own 180 Youth Group. Kids are encouraged to come dressed in their non-scary costumes and bring a flashlight to enjoy:
- Hayrides
- Carnival Games to win candy
- Campfire with s’mores
- A Lesson on GO & TELL.
The kids will be challenged to go on a mission to “BOO” someone’s house and invite them specifically to attend mission groups or to the 180 Youth Group. The idea with this night is for the kids to have fun and be intentional about inviting others to church.
For safety reasons, all children must be registered in RA/GA/MF, as children will be preassigned to groups. If you are interested in attending Fall Fun Night and trying out missions on Wednesdays from 7-8 pm, please register your child HERE.
No nursery will be provided for this event. If it rains, games and activities will be moved indoors or held at the bus shelter.
|
|
Wear your
non-scary costumes!

FOOD PACK-A-THON
Wednesday, December 1st
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Mark your calendar so
YOU can participate!
A Pack-a-thon is a food packing event in which participants produce thousands of nutritious meals that will be distributed through Feed the Hunger partners to children and families in need, both in America and internationally.
During a shift, teams of volunteers assemble four ingredients: rice, soy protein or dehydrated pinto beans, dehydrated vegetables, and vitamin powder. These ingredients, which together provide complete nutrition, are packaged in six-serving meal packets that are then weighed, sealed, and boxed. Pack-a-thons take place in a friendly, high-energy environment, and we welcome participants ages 5 to 105!
Our GA & RA groups, along with our youth, Women on Mission, and Baptist Men will be meeting together to pack meals that will be shipped around the world to feed those less fortunate. Everyone in the congregation is invited to be part of this churchwide food packing event! There is something for everyone above age 5 to do so please plan o joining us.
It costs about .30 per meal so if you would like to make a donation to help cover the cost of several meals, please give to the church and designate your donation for Feed the Hunger event.
On that Wednesday night, we will have our monthly meal beginning at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Then, we will move down to the Student building for our packing event. Please sign up online for the meal and plan on staying to pack some food for about an hour or so. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Mike.
Check out this quick video overview of a food packing event!
