New Staff Announcement
We are excited to announce and welcome Diane Dennison and Jennie Wandfluh to the St. Michael's staff. Adding more administrative staff to support our growing parish was one of our 2021 parish goals. As we continue to make Christ known within and beyond our walls we look forward to the gifts they will bring to our staff and parish.
Diane Dennison
Front Desk Receptionist & Volunteer Coordinator
Diane has worked with her husband, Jim, as his administrative assistant for twenty-five years in an independent insurance agency in Virginia. In 2010 they moved to Colorado Springs to be near three of their daughters and most of their 10 grandchildren. They quickly made St. Michael’s their spiritual home and since then Diane has served on several ministries: clerk of the Vestry, greeter on Sunday mornings, church office volunteer, Altar Guild, Tuesday Ladies Fellowship, SMASH Event Coordinator, Stephen Ministry and most recently she started the Flower Guild. Email Diane to welcome her at [email protected]!
Jennie Wandfluh
Special Events & Ministry Coordinator Jennie is originally from Kansas City, where she grew up serving her Episcopal Church through children's choir, as an acolyte, and lay reader. For 20 years she has worked with children and youth in the church through a variety of programs, events, and in nursery care. Married to Brett, together they are raising three children and live in the Falcon area. She is enthusiastic about fellowship and loves a good party! Her vast experience in catering, restaurants, and promotional work enriches her event management style. She's so excited to be a part of the St. Mike's team!! Email Jennie to welcome her at [email protected]!
Small Project Help Needed

While we can't wait to get everyone back inside, we still have a bit of work to do getting things ready. Can you help Matt this Sunday (8/29) after church from 11:00 - 2:00 PM? If so, don't forget a bag lunch. We need help from about 10 people putting together bookcases, carts, chairs, and cleaning tables! We are also working on some small landscape projects at the Rectory to prepare for the Lerena's arrival. Can you help? Contact Elise at [email protected] to volunteer!
Can You Lend a Hand?

St. Michael's Legacy

Since our humble beginnings, we have been blessed by faithful leadership and the generosity of many who call St. Michael’s their spiritual home. To ensure future generations can continue to worship, pray, and grow spiritually at St. Michael’s, “St. Michael’s Legacy” was created to recognize those who make a lifetime or planned gift to our endowment fund. The endowment fund provides sustainable resources to ensure the future vitality, care, and sustainability of our community, buildings, and campus. You should have recieved a letter with more details recently, but if you didn't receive yours please visit www.stmikeschurch.com/legacy for more information.
