St. Michael's will not hold an in-person service this Sunday, August 8. There will be no Fellowship on the Lawn, Drive Through Communion, or Home Communion Delivery this Sunday. We will see you next Sunday, August 15 on the back lawn!

Help us reach our goal of collecting 50 backpacks and school supplies for our Outreach partners!

Drop off your donated school supplies to the church office Mondays -Thursdays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, on Sundays, or leave them in the bins outside the church office. Donations due August 22.

Men of St. Michael's, join our Barbecue Ministry Team as we celebrate the 10th Annual Rib-a-palooza. This Men-only event will be held at outdoors at St. Michael's from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. We are so excited to announce that TRIBE, a New Orleans themed jazz and blues band, will be this summer's featured concert at St. Michael's. Mark your calendars for August 19th, 6-8 PM, for a Mardi Gras themed gathering on the back patio. Don't forget your dancing shoes! All are welcome and no RSVP required.

High School & Middle School Only

As we continue to kickoff our fall activities, we are excited to have a special event just for our Middle School and High School youth! Join The Rev. Matt Holcombe & Owen for mini golf adventures on Sunday, August 8. Drop off at 6:30 PM and pick up at 8:00 PM to Lost Island Mini Golf located at 1825 Dominion Way Colorado Springs. Bring $10 for mini golf and we will cover the snacks and drinks. CLICK HERE to RSVP.

We are excited for a great year at St. Michael's! Owen is so excited to be spending Sunday morning services with our younger parishioners! Children 4-10 years old, join Owen under the Pavilion during the outdoor Sunday service on August 15th. Owen will be guiding our younger parishioners through the entire service including the liturgy and each of the prayers as we all continue to grow and worship together.

This summer we switched our church database to a new online software called "Breeze". Once fully functionally you will be able to log into your account to view contribution information and access the online directory. We are also updating all the individual and family photos in the database. To update our Breeze database and prepare these directories, we are asking for you to send in a current family/household picture, as well as a picture of each individual within your home. Thank you all for your wonderful continued support of this ministry, we are so thankful for all the quarters we've collected. While we have an amazing group of volunteers already, we are looking for new faces to volunteer to staff the Laundry Love events themselves. It takes a village and St. Michael's is looking for amazing volunteers with all sorts of talents and skills. When you see this logo/image let us know if you are able to help. With many new initiatives on the horizon, let us know how you want to get involved. Current opportunities to help:

We are very excited to offer the Plaza and Pavilion as great outdoor meeting spaces for groups beginning to gather in-person outdoors! On the Plaza we've got great new and light outdoor tables and chairs (6 tables, 24 chairs) and under the Pavilion we've got multiple picnic tables that can be used or moved about. Please reach out to the church office by calling (719) 598-3244 x103 or emailing [email protected] to reserve either of these spaces for your group or ministry!

We are gearing up for our next Archangel which will be covering September and October. To add in a short article please send it to [email protected] by August 20th.

We are so happy to begin our summer of Picnic in the Pavilion every Tuesday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM! Much like last year's Picnic with the Priest, join us this year for a wonderful opportunity to get to know not only Rev. Matt Holcombe, but even more of our St. Michael's Clergy and Staff including Deacon Gary Darress, Director of Music Amalia Dobbins, and Newcomer Coordinator Linda Kean. Bring your lunch and enjoy this time of fellowship with your St. Michael's family and friends in our great outdoors! No RSVP required.
