Thank you!
Last weekend, St. Michael's hosted the diocesan ordinations for two new deacons and a new priest. Thank you to all the volunteers for a Spirit filled service. Clergy from across the state came to support the newly ordained and as one guest said, "I was overwhelmed with emotion the entire service." A special thank you to The Rt. Rev. Kym Lucas and the bishop's staff for all their support and collaboration.

Quarters Needed
Laundry Love Collection
We are excited to begin a new ministry at St. Michael's called Laundry Love. This ministry will help us get proximate and provide free laundry for our neighbors in need. However, we need quarters (and lots of them). Did you know it takes over $6.00 on average to wash and dry one load of laundry? For questions or to volunteer to help staff the laundromat contact Gary at gary@stmikeschurch.com.

House Blessings &
Porch Visits
The Rev. Matt Holcombe is making house calls for those who request a visit. Each visit will be 30 minutes and can be done on the porch (or if everyone in the home is fully COVID19 vaccinated - Matt is comfortable being inside your home.) While there Matt is also happy to provide a house blessing. CLICK HERE to sign up for the date and time that works best for you to have Matt stop by and visit and get to know you (and your family) a little better!

"Join the Band"
Wear a color coded wristband, please!
We’ve updated our Community Covenant to
include a way for fellowship and interactions to occur in a safe, non-verbal, sensitive way. When joining us for worship on Sundays or for weekday events, please wear a wristband to signal to others what level of interactions you feel most comfortable with.
*Please keep your wristband and do NOT put back into the basket. If you need a new wristband or forgot your band at home, don’t worry - we have plenty!

Wednesday Bible Study
on Summer Break!
The Wednesday Bible study finished a thought-provoking study of Philippians and will be on hiatus through July and August. We will convene again on Wednesday, 2 Sep and meet every other week at 12:30. Hopefully, we will be meeting in person by then, in the St. Francis room at St. Michael's. Keep an eye on the weekly eNews for a reminder. We are tentatively planning to study Colossians, but are open to suggestions! Also, if you'd like to be included on our direct email list, please email Laura DiSilverio at LDiSilverio@comcast.net. We hope to see many new faces in September!

Shade on Demand
With our outdoor Sunday Services we know this means a lot of sunshine. St. Michael's has shade on demand (also known as umbrellas) available for you to borrow for the service. Pick one up as you arrive and share the shade with a friend! Don't forget to drop them off in the same area after the service so we can have them ready for everyone for the next Sunday or outdoor event.
