Newcomer & Visitor Lunch

New to St. Michael's in the past several months? Get to know more about the clergy, staff, and ministries of St. Michael's. This is a great way to meet other newcomers and enjoy a delicious lunch after the 10:30 AM service. "Illuminating Justice" in

The Saint John's Bible

Saturday, February 15

The next quarterly meeting for The Saint John's Bible (SJB) docents - Illuminating Justice - will take place on Saturday, February 15 at 9:30 AM in the Parish Hall. All are welcome as we look at illuminations that speak to justice & mercy in the Bible.

Scout Sunday and Girl Scout Cookie Sales

Sunday, February 16

Scouts in our community will be recognized at both the 8:00 and 10:30 AM services on February 16. All Scouts (current and former - all ages) are encouraged to wear their uniforms. Scouts are invited to participate in the worship service as readers, ushers, acolytes, etc., and current Scouts will receive a special patch during the announcements. Contact Jennie with any questions. Girl Scouts will sell cookies ($5/box) after both services.

Newcomer Ambassador Luncheon

February 16, 12:00 PM

Newcomer Ambassadors and those interested in being a part of our welcome team are invited to a luncheon on Sunday, February 16 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM in the Multipurpose room. Sign up or learn more about this exciting program. Ambassadors look for new people before and after services and introduce them to our church - giving them information about St. Michael's and making them feel welcome. Questions? Contact Linda Kean.

Gun Violence Prevention Meeting

Thursday, February 20

The Sacred People Gun Violence Prevention group will meet on Thursday, February 20 in the Chapel from 5:00 - 6:00 PM. Contact Gary or Vicki with any questions. No RSVP required. This group will continue to look at the Diocesan Resolution that encourages faith communities to learn more about the impact on gun violence in our country and how we can respond in faith.

40s & 50s Bowling

February 21, 6:00 PM

We are on a roll! The 40s and 50s previous bowling outing was so much fun they are at it again. Friday, February 21 at 6:00 PM to Main Event (formerly The Summit) on Interquest. Those in their 40s and 50s are invited to join us for an evening of bowling, arcade games, food, drinks and fun!

Sages & Sprouts - “The Juice Box Bash”

Faithful Gardening 101 – Garden Planning and Preparation

Creation Care (Sweet) Conversations continue February 27 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM with a demonstration from Food to Power on how to successfully plan a vegetable garden in Colorado Springs. From how and when to plant seeds indoors (and out), to proper soil preparation, to water conservation practices, we will all learn together how to faithfully cultivate and care for God’s Creation… and have some great desserts to enjoy together. Pop-Up Writer's Workshop March 22, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Calling all writers looking to learn and/improve their skills. The Pop-Up Writer's Workshop on Saturday, March 22, hosted at St. Michael's, and sponsored by Saint John's - Collegeville Institute and Anam Cara Ministries. This workshop features an open cowriting space with optional writing prompts, a plenary conversation between local poet Erin Block and Anam Cara Ministries founder Tara Owens, and one-on-one workshopping with a writing mentor.
