Kairos and Spiritual Journey Programs Are Back Inside Prisons
Kairos and Spiritual Journey (formerly Epiphany) volunteers are finally allowed back inside the correctional facilities after 1 ½ years of isolation! We have returned for weekly Prayer and Share as well as the monthly Reunions that encourage those in prison to keep following their walk with Christ. These two ministries are an opportunity for those of us privileged to live in freedom to be the Church inside the prison and encourage the incarcerated to choose to Live in Christ, loved and forgiven. As we rebuild our presence inside the facilities, we will prepare to hold the 4-day weekends that draw new participants into the family of God in 2022. Volunteers from St. Michael's serve in Territorial Correctional Facility, Denver Women’s Correctional Facility, LaVista Women’s Correctional Facility, and the Youthful Offender System prison in Pueblo. For more information, contact Lee Kulbitski (lkulbitski@comcast.net) or Bill Oliver (gnarlybill@comcast.net)
