In response to the updated CDC mask guidelines and Diocese of Colorado recommendations released this week, St. Michael's will be announcing new COVID19 protocols gathering guidelines in a separate parish email. Bring a plant to Church
May 30, 9:00 AM

This Sunday, May 30, we invite you to bring a RED potted plant or flower to church. As we prepare for Regional Confirmations on June 5 and the Bishop's Visitation on June 6, we are excited to fill our outdoor space with lovely red flowers, especially Red Geraniums, Red Poppies, Columbines, Petunias, and Red Pin Cushions. Our gardeners will plant all donated plants to help grow our beautiful outdoor worship space and gardens. If you have any questions contact Susan Maltby at: svmaltby@gmail.com
Save the Date!
Bishop's Visitation
Sunday, June 6

We are excited to welcome Bishop Kym Lucas to preside at our outdoor 9:00 AM Sunday service. Join in person or online as we worship together! The Rt. Rev. Kimberly (Kym) Lucas was ordained and consecrated as the eleventh bishop of the Episcopal Church in Colorado on May 18, 2019 at St. John’s Cathedral in Denver. Bishop Lucas became the first woman bishop as well as the first African American bishop in the diocese’s 132-year history. After the service we will enjoy Fellowship on the Lawn and all have an opportunity to greet and welcome the Bishop to St. Michael's.
Picnic in the Pavilion
Tuesdays 12:00 - 1:00 PM
Kicking off June 1

Starting Tuesday, June 1, we are excited to begin our summer of Picnic in the Pavilion every Tuesday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM! Much like last year's Picnic with the Priest, join us this year for a wonderful opportunity to get to know not only Rev. Matt Holcombe, but even more of our St. Michael's Clergy and Staff including Deacon Gary Darress, Director of Music Amalia Dobbins, and Newcomer Coordinator Linda Kean. Bring your lunch and enjoy this time of fellowship with your St. Michael's family and friends in our great outdoors! No RSVP required.
Clean Up Day
Friday, June 4
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

This June St. Michael's is hosting the regional Confirmation Service, the Bishop's Visitation, and the Diocesan Ordinations. We need your help preparing St. Michael's to look it's best for all of our wonderful guests and we need your help. Our amazing Lawn Rangers and Gardeners have done stunning work to make our grounds look beautiful, but we could use your help with all the final touches. We are going to be cleaning up and tidying up the outdoor grounds from clearing sidewalks, weeding, and more! Please join us from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Friday, June 4 to help. If you have any questions contact Susan Maltby at: svmaltby@gmail.com
Music is in the Air
Summer Choir

Our summer music programming aims to bring us closer as a community through the power of beautiful music. We will start by featuring a group of congregational song leaders at the Bishop's visit on June 6th and continuing on the first Sunday of every month. Five Guest Soloists will make appearances throughout the summer, each of whom specializes in a different style of music. For some extra fun and socializing, mark your calendars for our two summer concerts on July 22nd and August 19th featuring local musicians! Want to help or join in the fun? Contact our Director of Music, Amalia Dobbins at amalia@stmikeschurch.com.
