Update on Current COVID Protocols
as of Sunday, 6 November
-
We are offering wine and grape juice by intinction only. Please remember that if you wish not to receive wine, receiving Bread only imparts the full benefit of the Sacrament.
-
Masks at indoor services are strongly encouraged.
- We will continue to wear masks in the office in all common areas, and those who have private offices may request visitors to wear masks. Please be respectful of staff wishes.
As a reminder, there are various levels of comfort in our community with masking, handshakes, and hugging, so please be respectful of others whose decisions differ from your own.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and flexibility. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Rev. D. or a member of the Vestry.

Please join us on All Saints Sunday, November 6, which is also our ingathering Sunday as we give thanks to God for those who have come before us at Trinity, and we celebrate God’s continued abundance among us now.
If you did not receive a pledge packet, please let the office know. Packets are available in the church in both the North and South narthexes. Electronic pledge forms can be accessed here

Prelude to the Haydn Missa Brevis – Sunday, November 13th
Adult Christian Formation
after the 10:00 Am Service
How do we face challenges with love? How do we find joy amidst chaos and uncertainty? How do we, in the darkest of times, find ways to play? Join music director, Michelle Horsley on Sunday November 13th after the 10:00 am service as she shares life perspectives from 18th century Austrian composer, Joseph Haydn, whose life and works are a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
This presentation is in joyful anticipation of the fundraiser concert for The Choir School of Hartford on the following Sunday, November 20th, in which our choirs will be performing Haydn's Missa Brevis in F major ("Jugendmesse"), joined by string ensemble and guest singers.

A BIG Thank You to the
Property Clean-up Crew!
Peter Green, along with faithful helpers Neill Derick, Karin Peterson, David Pontrelli and Marc Wiest tamed weeds, raked leaves and began to get the property ready to weather the winter. Peter reports:
“It was a beautiful morning and we got a lot done!”
Want to get some exercise in the fresh air and meet some of your fellow parishioners? Mark your calendars: the next clean-up date is Saturday, December 3 from 9:00 am to noon.

Trinity Book Group –
October Meeting
When We Were Orphans, by Nobel prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro, is Trinity Book Group's next selection. Set in China, it's a suspenseful and psychologically acute novel, offering a meditation on the shifting quality of memory, and the possibility of avenging one's past.
Book Group will meet Friday, November 4th, 7 - 9 pm, at the home of Anne Rapkin. All are welcome to attend, whether as a one-time event, or regularly. Please let Anne know if you plan to attend. anne.rapkin@gmail.com
