Lenten Series
after the 10 AM Service –
Join us for Session 4!

As Lent progresses we hear stories in which Jesus speaks openly and clearly about who he is, angering the religious authorities and leading inexorably to the events of Holy Week. This Sunday our Lenten Series on the Geography of the Bible takes us to Jerusalem, where all the pain and drama of Holy Week took place. Using photographs, maps, and conversation, Drew Smith will share his experience of being in the very place where the Passion Story took place.

Please join us in the Sanctuary after the 10 o’clock Eucharist!

What’s happening in our Godly Play class??

On March 12 we heard the first four lessons on The Faces of Easter

Lenten Contemplation Through Art

We all appreciate the original art that George Chien brings to both our bulletins and on-line newsletters. George has created a series of 6 Lenten images, that individually and collectively give opportunity to pause, observe and reflect on our Lenten journey. Each week, a new image will join the others on the bulletin board in Goodwin Hall. You might look at this as a visual prayer experience as each work of art is inspired by the Sunday scripture readings.

Take a new look at this season of spiritual renewal through the lens of art.
Lenten Project - Capital Community College

Churches in the North Central Region of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut (ECCT) are once again invited to assist students of Capitol Community College in Hartford during Lent.

While many students are beneficiaries of SNAP vouchers, the vouchers don’t allow for the purchase of personal hygiene products. The items in greatest need are full size soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and feminine hygiene products. We're invited to collect one personal care item for each week in Lent to benefit these students. There are collection bags in the baptistery for those who wish to bring their items to the church, or items may be delivered directly to Christ Church Cathedral (Weds-Fri April 12-14, 9-12 or Sun April 16, 12-1).Volunteers will deliver the donations from Trinity.

Collected items will be blessed during the Maundy Thursday service.

An informational sheet from Cathedral Deacon Bonnie Matthews
is available on the bulletin table in Goodwin Hall.
The Companions of the Holy Cross

On April 1st we will have a book discussion of The Church Cracked Open by Stephanie Spellars. Stephanie introduced the book at our Companion conference last June. New thoughts and ideas to ponder! This meeting will be hybrid and at Trinity.
