Update on Current COVID Protocols
as of Sunday, 16 October
-
We are offering wine and grape juice by intinction only. Please remember that if you wish not to receive wine, receiving Bread only imparts the full benefit of the Sacrament.
-
Masks at indoor services are strongly encouraged.
- We will continue to wear masks in the office in all common areas, and those who have private offices may request visitors to wear masks. Please be respectful of staff wishes.
As a reminder, there are various levels of comfort in our community with masking, handshakes, and hugging, so please be respectful of others whose decisions differ from your own.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and flexibility. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Rev. D. or a member of the Vestry.

Come wonder with us in our Godly Play class.
All three years old or older are welcomed into our classroom at 9:45, and join the congregation about 10:40.
Come learn and wonder about:
October 16 ~ Mother Teresa Of Calcutta
“I Wonder What Part Of The Story Is About You Or Where You Might Be In The Story?”
October 16 ~ Abraham
“I Wonder If We Could Leave Any Of The Story Out And Still Have All That We Need?”
Godly Play Is Now Practiced In 66 Countries!
- Godly Play begins with children’s innate sense of the presence of God.
- It offers ways to create safe space and build community as we get inside the sacred stories of God and God’s people.
- We wonder through our thoughts and our hands as we discover new meaning together.
- Although the focus begins with children, it is also being used successfully with adults and older children.

Church by the Pond
Save the Date: October 15
Trinity's next opportunity to participate in this ministry led by Christ Church Cathedral is Saturday, October 15.
- We'll meet in the Trinity kitchen at 12:30 to prepare bag lunches, entering though the outside door to the kitchen.
- At 1:45 we'll bring those lunches to Bushnell Park, where we'll participate in the worship service by the pond, led by Rev. D.
- We'll distribute our lunches and personal care items following the service, and finish around 3:00.
All parishioners and families are welcome. Volunteers will observe the mask and social distancing protocols in effect at the time for in-person worship.
Please contact me if you have any questions, or to let me know you are planning to participate.

CONCORA will present
a concert of Bach’s Six Motets on
Saturday, October 29 at 3pm
at Trinity Episcopal Church.
Although J.S. Bach wrote nearly 300 cantatas and several important concert-length choral works, he composed only six motets. Major pieces in the choral repertoire, the motets are highly complex, demanding for the singer but joyous for the listener. A concert of all six motets requires the artistic mastery of CONCORA’s professional singers.
For a preview of the music, concert details, tickets, visit www.concora.org. The web site also features recorded talks from CONCORA’s artistic director Chris Shepard about each of the motets.

Trinity Book Group –
October Meeting
When We Were Orphans, by Nobel prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro, is Trinity Book Group's next selection. Set in China, it's a suspenseful and psychologically acute novel, offering a meditation on the shifting quality of memory, and the possibility of avenging one's past.
Book Group will meet Friday, November 4th, 7 - 9 pm, at the home of Anne Rapkin. All are welcome to attend, whether as a one-time event, or regularly. Please let Anne know if you plan to attend.(anne.rapkin@gmail.com)
