THE FEAST OF ALL SAINTS' (OBSERVED)

November 3, 2024

Dear George,

Today, October 27, Bishop Alma Sally Sue Hernández Garcia, Confirmed 9 persons and Received 12 into the Anglican Communion at a well attended (205) bilingual Eucharist. All of those Confirmed and Received were Mexican nationals.

Padre Adrian (Bishop's Chaplain), Seminarian Diego, and many members of our mission congregation at Santiago Apóstl, joined us from Querétaro.

Some photos are below, but Rosielo, our principal photographer, and I did not find time to Air Drop our phones, hence, the exterior orchestra and sing-along, the huge pachanga tent, and the amazing green and red moles on chicken with rice and beans are not pictured. Singing and dancing continued until 2:30pm.

Josefina and Angela cooked all day for at least to days and arrived at 7am Sunday morning to continue! ¡Saludos for hard work and amazing fare!

Thanks to our bishop, newly appointed to the Anglican Alliance and just back from Dubai and jet-lagged, for driving the 8 hour round trip to San Miguel de Allende to be with us.

Padre Rangél celebrates his 40th birthday this coming Thursday. As he is doing more entertaining, a bottle of wine might not be inappropriate! Prayer for Padre Rangél were offered at the 10:15 Eucharist.

The third annual trip to the Catrina factory will be Thursday October 31, departing at 9am. If you still wish a place, please contact Kathy Lapsys at mklapsys@gmail.com
