THE FEAST OF THE RESURRECTION

April 19 and April 20, 2025

Dear George,

Our Palm Sunday Liturgies were well attended, despite many North Americans having returned North this year prior to a late Easter. English language Palm Sunday services saw 140, with 98 at El Desfile de Las Palmas at Noon.

Sandra López needs volunteers to work in assembling Easter Eggs, and hiding them in the back Garden for the children's Easter Egg hunt, which will occur during our 10:15am Mass On The Grass Easter Sunday, Aprill 20th. Following Mass on the Grass, two piñatas will be addressed by the children on the front lawn following the removal of lawn chairs. Sexton Pepe Bustamante will purchase the piñatas and supervise (as he does each year) the pummeling.

Volunteers are needed to work with our Flower Guild in the decoration of the Church and exterior on Holy Saturday, April 19th. Adrian Ross and Laurie Marino are much in need of assistance. An expansion of the flower guild is needed, for those who find delight as volunteers on this occasion and may wish to continue.

Keep Christine Eyre, Altar Guild Director, and our Altar Guild in prayer during this demanding ecclesiastical season. As with the flower guild, additional members, female or male, would animate and enliven our Guild. Interest may be expressed to Christine!

If you are unable to attend Holy Week and Easter liturgies and desire Easter Communion during Easter week, contact the parish office and arrangements will be made for a Lay Eucharistic minister or a priest to carry Communion to you.

All key lay folk listed above may be contacted through the parish office and administrator Claudia Rangél at stpaulmmanagementSMA@gmail.com

Please note our "End of Life" Seminars (below) April 12 and 26. These seminars and materials will require a fee and are open to the community. Pre-registration and payment are required. Memento quod moriaris.

Lenten grace and peace, and shortly, a blessed Holy Week unfolding,

Emergency and End-Of-Life Preparedness Seminars

Tell your friends!!! St. Paul’s is pleased to host two Emergency and End-Of-Life Preparedness seminars in the Parish Hall on Saturday, April 12 and Saturday, April 26, 11 AM – 1 PM (please arrive by 10:45 AM).

Between the two seminars, speakers will cover a range of topics, including how to be prepared for short and long-term medical emergencies, the importance of having a Mexican will and other legal documents prepared here, end-of-life planning and a variety of resources available in San Miguel.

Being prepared provides peace of mind – both for us and our loved ones here and abroad. There will be a fee to cover the cost of the binder of materials provided for all attendees. Please plan to attend both seminars and invite friends and neighbors. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by emailing our Office Administrator Claudia Rangel at

stpaulmanagementsma@gmail.com.
