The Big Read

Church of the Advent, Cincinnati has offered a gift to allow us to experience the Big Read differently. Find audio recordings of The Big Read   here   for your contemplative listening.   Thank you, Church of the Advent!

The reading schedule for this week is Luke chapters 12-14. You can see the entire schedule with links to each day's reading both in English and in Spanish at dsobeloved.org/big-read-home/

You can also read blog posts to accompany each reading at dsobeloved.org/ blog/ .
As we enter the new year with hope and joy, I invite each of you to encounter Christ through #PrayFastAct for the Next Time , the joint Episcopal and ELCA call to action on behalf of the poor, the forgotten, the rejected in our midst.

If you do not already receive it, I also encourage you to subscribe to the Episcopal Public Policy Network email updates. When you are moved to action on a particular issue, please let me know so that I can put you in touch with others who share your concern and passion for positive change. I invite you to view this short video about the #PrayFastAct movement.

Peace to you,

The Rev. Dr. Lee Anne Reat, Canon for Formation
