CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
Psalm 98:4 "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise."
At Immanuel we rejoice having children with us in worship!! Will they always be quiet and well behaved? No, but the occasional noise and activity is an important part of the commitment we make at each child's baptism to support their caregivers in faith development and teaching about worship. Thanks be to God!

HOPS & HOPE
Next gathering Monday, January 27th
6:00pm in the Library at Immanuel
The focus of Hops & Hope is to explore books on faith, justice and what it means to find hope in Christ amid a messy and complex world. We usually meet monthly at a local brewery or at Immanuel to discuss and explore how the words we read impact the lives we live. All are welcome to join, whether you finish the book or not.
For the next few months we will be discussing The Universal Christ: How a Forgotten Reality Can Change Everything We See, Hope For, and Believe by Richard Rohr. Jerry Fig will be leading the discussion on this book for January, February and March and will send out discussion questions in advance to help provide opportunities for reflection. The first gathering for this book will be on January 27th from 6-7:30pm in the Immanuel Library and we will be reading/discussing Chapter 1-5. You are invited to bring along snacks or beverages to share (beer, wine, or non-alcoholic options welcome). MORE
