CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
Psalm 98:4 "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise."
At Immanuel we rejoice having children with us in worship!! Will they always be quiet and well behaved? No, but the occasional noise and activity is an important part of the commitment we make at each child's baptism to support their caregivers in faith development and teaching about worship. Thanks be to God!

Help us UNdeck the Halls THIS Sunday, January 5th after each service! With several people we can have everything packed up quickly. Bring gloves if you are able to help remove the trees from the sanctuary after the 10:30am service. Thanks! | |

NEW SOFTWARE IN 2025!
We are EXCITED to announce the implementation of new church management software for Immanuel that will help us improve several ways we interact as a congregation!
Our new software suite, AMPLIFY, includes member data, contribution records, worship planning, volunteer scheduling, website, a new Immanuel app, and financial software that will meet all of our needs. With Amplify we will begin to integrate how we communicate, serve, sign-up for activities, offer financial gifts and so much more!
Do you give to Immanuel online?
Online giving will be the FIRST big change you will notice. If you currently give electronically, we will be sending emails to each of you SOON with instructions for setting up your new account.
Full transition will take up to 6 months, so watch for updates in weekly emails and in worship.

TACK, GRACIAS, DANKE ...
no matter how you say it, Thank you to everyone who contributed to Immanuel’s successful smorgasbord on December 5th!
Your presence, your food preparation/ festive baking contributions, your musical talents, the dedication of the Smorgasbord committee, those who decorated (inside & out), those who prepared Lutefisk, the service of our youth workers, and all those who worked behind the scenes made this an enjoyable and memorable event.
From this year’s proceeds the youth workers received funds in their “Immanuel Account” to offset expenses for their service ministries, and both Youth Choirs received funds to offset expenses for their upcoming choir performance in Duluth.
Immanuel’s Smorgasbord is your event. If you have recommendations for next year please text Bev Lohs (612-322-2648) or Kari Totall (952-836-4484).
Until then…we wish you continued Hope, Peace, Joy & Love in the new year!
