Hello Econ Families!
Thank you for another great week! This week is
Celebrate Literacy Week. Highlights of the weeks activities are below:
Monday: Teachers have all week to decorate their door with their 2nd period class. The winning class will earn a pizza party.
Tuesday: Students will earn a stamp in their passport for using vocabulary words correctly. Five stamps equals a homework pass.
Wednesday: Wear your team shirt and participate in the 20 minute reading challenge to earn your team a prize.
Thursday: Dress as a tourist and read about a trip or journey someone has taken. ELA classes will visit the media center for a fun activity.
Friday: Dress as your favorite book character and promote reading school wide!
We are hosting our
RISE UP Academic Support Night this Thursday, January 30th from 6-7:15 pm. This is a night where you can come out and see what resources are available to you from the school and the community to help support your child's academic success. We hope to see you there!
In the month of February we will begin social emotional lessons in all grade levels. You were sent a letter though Canvas that allows you to have your child opt out if you do not want them to participate. Please call your child's school counselor if you have any questions about these lessons.
It is
parent survey time! Please help us out by scrolling down and clicking on the parent survey link below. Your feedback is vital to the success of our school.
