PAST EVENTS

On April 4, 2022, the Weingart Center held its 26th Annual Weingart Golf Classic fundraiser at the beautiful Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Sponsors, donors, and attendees helped raise more money than previous years, making it our most successful tournament ever!
On Saturday, June 11, 2022, Pets' Landing returned to the Weingart Center parking lot for its Summer Clinic and Fair for People Experiencing Homelessness!

Vet Clinic services included health exams, vaccinations, deworming, and flea medication.

Grooming services included baths, ear cleaning, nail trims, breath freshening, and bandanas.

Hayley’s Hygiene Kits returned and handed out 100+ hygiene kits, nutritious snacks, and a hot Burger King meal to go.

People and their pets took away a 4-image strip from the “Smile, You’re on K9 Camera” Booth.

And to help beat the heat, cartons of Boxed Water® were passed out and there were plenty of water buckets for the dogs.

120 Proud Pet Parent gift bags were given out, which included a blanket, collapsible bowl, brush, flea comb, toys, wipes, poop bags, treats, and bags of food for dogs and cats.

At the info booth, each participant received a Pet Parent folder loaded with helpful tips and resources.

UCLA HHC was on-site to provide wellness checks and medical care for 25 guests.

Total pets served: 120 (101 dogs + 19 cats)

Pets' Landing returns on Saturday, September 10, 2002, from 10 AM to 2 PM and again on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
On Friday, June 17, 2022, our friends from ONE A Potter's House Church led a special Father's Day event where 30 Weingart clients received great haircuts!

Earlier that same week, our friends at Johnny B Haircare donated over $10K worth of Johnny B grooming products for clients of the Weingart Center to use.

Both ONE and Johnny B are #WeingartWarriors.
