Dear LTHS Class of 2025 Parents/Guardians and Families,
We are so excited to officially welcome our newest class of students and families to your LT Experience! The Class of 2025 Freshman Experience Day is less than six weeks away and we look forward to continuing to support families as you prepare for the 2021-2022 school year. While we cannot wait to meet our newest class of Lions on August 16th, we hope that the Class of 2025 page on the LT website will continue to support the final stages of your student’s transition process. Our Class of 2025 page is a hub of information for students and families and includes information on academic programs, athletics & activities, parent organizations, registration process/health forms, and important dates. The page also includes a virtual tour of LT’s South Campus where freshman and sophomore students attend.
As our students engage in their LT Experience, they will have access to an environment that is physically and emotionally safe, an academic curriculum that is comprehensive, challenging, and prepares them for life after high school, and a wide variety of co-curricular activities that meet their interests and needs! As we look forward to prioritizing connectedness, fun, and belonging during the 2021-2022 school year, we will be encouraging each member of our incoming freshman class to get connected to at least one of our many activities! There truly is something for everyone at LT! We will also be encouraging our students to Experience LT by attending beginning of the year events aimed at connecting them to LT from day one!
Our students will be part of a vibrant, engaging, and spirited school community as we foster their growth and affirm our motto, Vita Plena, the quest for the fulfilling life! We look forward to supporting our newest class as they build connections, develop relationships and take advantage of the many opportunities that LT has to offer! We can not wait for the Class of 2025 to get started and are excited to see all they will accomplish during their time at LT!

Beginning of the Year Items

Complete Online Registration: Details are outlined within the registration link on the Class of 2025 page.

Submit Birth Certificate: Birth certificates are required for all students. All families of incoming freshman students need to submit an original birth certificate to the South Campus Main Office by July 19. The birth certificate must include the name of at least one parent. A copy will be made and the original will be returned to the family. We will send a targeted communication to families that still need to submit their child’s birth certificate tomorrow, Friday, July 9th.

Submit Health Paperwork: Details are outlined within the health form link on the Class of 2025 page. Students must have a completed health examination with proof of immunizations prior to the first day of school. Our Health Offices will continue sending targeted communications to families that still need to submit medical paperwork.

Complete Fee Payment: July 15th is the due date for online fee payment. Families that still need to complete fee payment can log in through their Portal account to make a payment. Our Business Office will continue sending targeted communications to families that still need to complete fee payment.

Residency Verification: We have contracted with a company to assist the district in electronically verifying residency. This means many families will not have to prove residency by bringing in documents and forms. Within the next two weeks, your family will be notified of your residency verification status. You will either be cleared for residency or you will be asked to bring in proper residency documentation. We will include specific instructions within residency communications.

COVID-19 Vaccine Card Submission: Fully vaccinated students are encouraged to share a copy of their vaccine card with the Health Office by emailing a jpeg picture or PDF to [email protected]. Students who are fully vaccinated do not have to quarantine in the case of a close contact; therefore, they will not have to miss school, activities, or athletics, unless they are symptomatic.
Important Dates for Class of 2025 Families
Monday, August 9 thru Friday, August 13 – Book Pick-up
- Information on Book Pick-up will be sent to families later this month and families will have a chance to sign up for an appointment.
- Students will also pick up their Chromebooks and Student ID Cards at Book Pick-up.
- Students will have the chance to walk their schedule and find their locker during Book Pick-up so they can get acclimated to the building.
