Invoices were mailed at the beginning of August. If you have not submitted payment, please do so asap. Today, September 1 is the due date.
We are pleased to announce that we have added a more convenient, secure, and quick way for you to submit payments. We now offer an online payment option for your to submit your renewal dues, event registration fees, etc.
Your private information is secured using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), the leading security protocol on the Internet. Information is encrypted and exchanged with an https server. We will still accept payments via mail or by calling our office.

Blake Krapf of Krapf Coaches Receives Award

Blake Krapf of GNJMA Member Krapf Coaches was among those recognized by the National School Transportation Association (NSTA) for excellence in the private school transportation industry.
The awards were presented during a July 27 ceremony at the association’s annual meeting and convention in Milwaukee.
Krapf was inducted into the NSTA Hall of Fame in recognition for excellence in long-term efforts on behalf of the student transportation industry. Krapf is the President and CEO of Krapf School Bus in West Chester, Pennsylvania, overseeing all daily operations and strategic direction of all divisions of Krapf Group. Read more...

Jason Briggs of VIP Tour & Charter Bus Company credits early action by fellow Maine operator Scott Riccio of Northeast Charters and Tours with the motorcoach companies getting on the governor’s radar. “Scott hired a videographer . . . he went to everybody in Maine, the summer camps, and the cruise ships, and the hoteliers, and the restaurants and all the people that would miss us if we were gone. College sports. Athletic directors. Without all of us and what we do in our state, all those places would be in dire straits. That was a selling point to the governor,” Briggs said.
Maine Gov. Janet Mills announced a $10 million state grant program funded by CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) to help charter transportation companies and border businesses adversely impacted by the pandemic and closure of the Canadian border. Read more...

Trans-Bridge Lines Resumes Bus Routes on Their Doylestown/Flemington Schedule

After almost a year and a half of suspended service, Trans-Bridge Lines resumed bus routes on its Doylestown/Flemington Schedule Monday, August 16, 2021. The return-to-service comes after carefully surveying passengers who wish to use the service from areas in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, as well as areas in New Jersey such as Flemington, Branchburg, and Lambertville. Wind Creek Bethelem is Expanding

Wind Creek Bethlehem is seeing its expansion project start to rise! They broke ground in January on the Tower 2 expansion of Wind Creek Bethlehem. The second tower will feature 276 rooms and suites, 35,000 square feet of event space, lobby bar, rooftop pool and impressive spa on the 15th floor of the hotel. Once complete in late Fall 2022, their integrated resort will have over 550 guestrooms, 60,000 sf of meeting and event space and a variety of amenities for all to enjoy.

Atlantic City Coalition Build Held Online August 26

GNJMA partnered with Busing on the Lookout and others for a 90-minute online briefing on commercial sexual exploitation and to create partnerships to end human trafficking.
The bus industry has a key role to play in combating human trafficking, particularly as frontline employees may be coming into contact with victims of human trafficking in the course of their everyday jobs.

Send Your CERTS Grant Questions to Treasury for FAQ and Keep Advocating for $6B More in Reconciliation

The U.S. Department of Treasury is collecting questions regarding CERTS allowable spending and intends to issue a revised Frequently Asked Questions
Please submit your questions to CERTS@treasury.gov as soon as possible and watch for the notice announcing the revised FAQs.
Action Needed: Tell your US Representative and Senators they must use reconciliation to ADD $6 billion for CERTS Grants before more motorcoach businesses are lost.
